Mission
Work right next to the founders of a construction robotics startup and take real work off their desk. Our robots remove concrete with high pressure water on live construction sites, and we sell the result per cubic meter, not the machine. Behind that sits a small team that has to fundraise, hire, buy parts, win customers and run sites at the same time. As Founders Associate Intern you take on whatever matters most that week and get it done, from investor material to a funding application to a recruiting campaign. Much of how we work runs on AI agents and automations, and you will build more of them.
Responsibilities & Outcomes
- Prepare investor material with the CEO and our Founders Associate. Monthly investor reports, pitch deck updates, data room, and the numbers behind them.
- Keep the budget honest. Compare plan and actuals every month, find out where the money went and flag what needs a decision.
- Research and draft public funding applications, from finding the right programme to writing sections and building the cost plan.
- Run market and customer research for our pay per cubic meter model. Who buys it, what they pay today, which segments we go after next.
- Build prospect lists and run outbound campaigns for sales and recruiting.
- Build AI workflows with Claude, Make and Notion that take manual work off the team, and keep them running.
- Handle the hands-on side too. Procurement, event preparation, logistics for robots and test sites. Nothing is beneath the role.
What Makes This Role Different
- You work directly with the CEO every day. You see how a hardware startup is funded, built and run, including the decisions that never make it into a case study.
- You get ownership from week one. Tasks come with a goal, not a step by step plan.
- We run a large part of our operations on AI. You will not use AI on the side, you will build the tools the team relies on.
- It is a real business with real machines. You will stand on a construction site and see the robot your numbers are about.
Cultural Competencies
- Gives 110 percent. This is not a 9 to 5 internship, and the people who thrive here want it that way.
- Closes loops. When you take something on, it gets finished, and nobody has to chase you.
- Thinks in structure and numbers, and writes clearly.
- Learns fast and teaches yourself what the task needs.
