Mission
Help wire, connect and integrate the electrical side of our construction robots. Power, motor control, sensors, cabling and simple circuits — you'll get the electrical systems built and running reliably on the bench and on real construction sites. The focus is correct, clean, safe wiring and integration. Hands-on, and right where the robots come to life.
Responsibilities & Outcomes
- Wire and connect electrical systems — power distribution, motor drives, sensors, cabling and connectors.
- Integrate electrical components into working robots and get them running on the bench.
- Do the simpler circuit / PCB work our robots need and help debug electrical issues.
- Support field tests on real construction sites (setup, quick fixes, electrical troubleshooting on the spot).
- Do the wiring and integration properly — clean, safe, and with an eye on the relevant norms.
- Feed what you learn in the field back to the engineering team.
Cultural Competencies
- Hands-on mentality — happy to wire, build, and get your hands dirty.
- Careful and clean: does wiring and integration properly, not just quickly.
- Ownership-driven and eager to grow into more responsibility.
- Calm and pragmatic when things break.
- Passion for robotics and real-world impact.
Requirements
- Enrolled student, ideally in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related technical field.
- Hands-on and handy — real experience wiring, connecting and integrating electrical systems (not simulation only).
- Comfortable with tools and basic electronics; simple circuit/PCB work is a plus.
- Motivated to work on-site in real conditions (dust, weather, construction reality).
